Raising the bar for compliance (again) in 2026
What’s next for CSVUE: platform refinements, ISO certification and advancing into Australia
For more than two decades, CSVUE has been helping enterprises, infrastructure operators and government agencies across Australasia manage the complexities of environmental compliance.
Those reporting and compliance expectations are rising every year – organisations are more under the microscope than ever before, so our focus for 2026 is clear: continue strengthening the platform with targeted product refinements and an internationally recognised security certification.
It’s from that stronger base that we’ll continue expanding into Australia, to give more organisations a better way to manage compliance at scale.
Product refinements our customers need most
The platform is already in great shape, so the focus this year will be on continued refinement and deeper integration. This is guided by the real-world experiences and requirements of our largest and most complex clients. In doing so, we’ll ensure we are building functionality and usability features that deliver more value. Some of the updates already in the roadmap include:
Geospatial and Mapping Enhancements
Expanded geospatial capabilities will let users more clearly see their compliance obligations across sites, assets and operational areas. Teams will be able to view consent conditions, monitoring locations and related documentation in an enhanced map view. That will make it easier and faster to understand where obligations apply and how they relate to operational activities. Enhanced GIS integration will make the system more closely aligned with the spatial systems used by councils and infrastructure operators.
Reporting and Dashboard Improvements
We’re developing new reporting and dashboard capabilities, giving users faster access to meaningful compliance insights and easier tailoring to operational teams, management and governance reporting. The dashboards will also be configurable, so users can arrange their view to highlight risk areas, upcoming obligations and compliance performance across teams, projects and assets.
Smarter Data Setup and Automation
Smarter tools will streamline data, set up compliance data, and automate routine processes. They can also streamline condition setup, automate task generation, and reduce manual data entry through more structured workflows. This will make it simpler for organisations to keep accurate compliance records while reducing administrative effort.
Clarified tiers: Enterprise vs Advanced Insights
Also now established are three account tiers for CSVUE, offering better clarity between the Enterprise and Advanced Insights. While all are built on CSVUE’s compliance management foundation, the higher tiers offer increasingly stronger governance, integration and security.
Enterprise gives you strong governance, role-based access control and auditability in a centralised system.
Advanced Insights takes that control further. It integrates live data feeds, operational systems, sensors and GIS platforms, while adding more granular stakeholder controls and enterprise identity features like SSO.
This means the system scales with customers as they grow in compliance maturity, size and environmental complexity.
ISO 27001 certification continues
CSVUE’s platform has always had strong security controls, but holding ISO 27001 will certify them. To do that, we’ve been pushing CSVUE beyond environmental compliance. As our ISMS management tool, CSVUE offers robust document controls, shows version evidence, schedules renewals and more.
We are currently progressing through the ISO certification process, with the final audit scheduled for Q3 this year.
Our push into Australia
CSVUE has been operating in Australia for years, but 2026 will see us step up that activity, reinvigorating our partnerships and looking to establish a more permanent presence. To date, our focus has largely been on the mining and extractives sector, but in 2026, we’re moving into energy, infrastructure and aquaculture. If you or your colleagues want to understand more about the value CSVUE can bring to these sectors, get in contact [link].
Deeper connections with industry players
2026 will see us considerably stepping up our market presence. Our team is scheduled to attend or speak at conferences all over New Zealand and Australia this year, a chance for us to better connect with the mood of the people and leaders working in our key industries.
Notably, CSVUE has committed to a Platinum sponsorship of the Environmental Compliance Conference scheduled for November 2026. We’re excited to lend our two decades of expertise to the event and will encourage customers and partners to attend as part of the long-term support plan. [needs more – we are still haggling over the governance piece btw…]
You’ll also see us at these events:

Blazing into our third decade
When we launched in 2004, the compliance landscape was already complex. Now, with constant legislative changes, tougher enforcement and greater public scrutiny of environmental performance, our clients are looking for ever better transparency, automation and security.
It’s why this year, we will be strengthening governance capabilities, offering greater confidence in our security measures with our ISO 27001 certification, and making refinements that deliver on real-world needs. To do that, we’ll be connecting more with our customers and our key industries – we’ll see you out there.
